1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Architecture

Earthly Abode is designed with a "Local-First" philosophy. When you build a Portfolio or use the Calculator, that data is stored in your browser's Local Storage (`ea_ledger`). We do not transmit your financial inputs or portfolio contents to our servers. Your asset data remains on your device.

2. Analytics & Tracking

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics solution. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and anonymizes your IP address. We measure aggregate traffic trends (e.g., "How many people viewed the Red Wing audit?"), not individual user behavior.

3. Affiliate Tracking (Third Party)

While we do not track you, the retailers we link to (Amazon, eBay, Manufacturers) do.

• Amazon Associates: As an Amazon Associate, Earthly Abode earns from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon places a cookie on your device to track the sale. This is governed by Amazon's Privacy Policy.
• eBay Partner Network: Similar to Amazon, eBay uses tracking technologies to credit us for referrals.

4. CCPA & GDPR Rights

Because we do not maintain a database of user accounts, emails, or personal identifiers, we technically cannot "delete" your account because one does not exist. To clear your data from Earthly Abode, simply clear your browser cache or click "Delete Portfolio" in the interface.
